Meet JULIANA

I’m Juliana Aguiar, a Brazilian photographer based in Paris. Before photography, I worked as a model and lived across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the United States. Moving between cultures and countries shaped the way I see people and how I connect with them through my camera.

Being in front of a camera can feel uncomfortable when you don’t know what to do with your body, your hands, or your expression. I know that feeling well, and it allows me to guide my clients with patience and clarity. I work through movement and interaction—walking, running, laughing, letting things happen naturally—while always respecting each person’s rhythm and personality.

My modeling background also helps men feel more confident during sessions. I often demonstrate poses myself, which makes the process clearer and more relaxed.

As a woman photographer, I create a space where women feel at ease, especially during boudoir sessions or family shoots. I work easily with children and have experience photographing kids with special needs.

Paris inspires my work daily—from cafés and quiet streets to the Seine, the Louvre, and the city’s architecture.

I booked Juliana Aguiar for a 2hr photoshoot proposal and I could not imagine having such an incredible experience without her help! She created and sent me a PDF that prepared me for all aspects of the proposal and photoshoot. Juliana was incredibly kind and responsive and the pictures came out stunning! She guided us through poses and made us feel very comfortable throughout the entire photoshoot. We also appreciated that she consistently checked in to make sure it was everything we wanted and included any poses we requested! We are having so much trouble picking our favorites from the 600+ beautiful photos.

I could not have asked for a better photographer! Juliana suggested a beautiful plan with multiple locations and was understanding of pauses for impromptu photos and breaks during the Paris heatwave. Throughout our stroll, she checked in on us and had lovely conversation that helped ease my pre-proposal nerves. I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting a photography experience that is so calming, engaging, and comforting. Juliana made this once in a lifetime experience outstanding! The setup was jaw dropping, the photos were magnificent and extraordinary.

Juliana was absolutely amazing! I never leave google reviews, but this experience couldn’t be topped so I had to write one. She had availability last minute for my proposal to my fiancé and the pictures turned out incredibly! She had great recommendations and basically planned out the surprise proposal herself, I just followed her directions. I even had a last minute schedule change and she was able to accommodate and make the proposal one of the most special days of my life! Cannot recommend them enough!

POV of the guy getting on one knee: Juliana was amazing! As someone in Paris for only 24 hours to surprise propose who didn’t know the city, she was a lifesaver! She handled all the logistics and created a map of the exact spot. She was so patient and made me feel like I was in great hands. The 2-hour shoot was definitely worth it, the photos turned out outstanding.

She let us soak up the experience before our Louvre photoshoot. I instantly felt comfortable as she guided our poses with fantastic feedback.
