David’s Grand New Year’s Eve Proposal at Peninsula Paris

David wanted a grand surprise proposal in Paris on New Year’s Eve with a rooftop overlooking the city. We created the perfect plan.

The Setup. First, he checked into his terrace room with Eiffel Tower views at the Peninsula Palace Hotel. Then they prepared for dinner, traveling in Rolls-Royce style for New Year’s Eve.

The Surprise Begins. As they reached the car, David told Lauren he had forgotten something in the room and that he would be right back. She waited in the car, unaware she was secretly filmed and live-streamed via Zoom to their families and friends in the USA.

Following the Rose Trail, A hotel page approached the car with a note and rose on a silver tray. The message instructed her to follow the rose. The page led her to the elevator, where another page and a rose awaited. She followed him to the floor below the terrace, where another messenger and a rose waited. Her guide led her to the terrace stairs decorated with candles and rose petals, motioning for her to go up.

The Proposal, Lauren was shivering with excitement, knowing what awaited beyond the terrace door.

There she found David standing on rose petals in a spectacular setting of white flowers, feathers, candlelight, and firework fountains, holding a bouquet of roses. He proposed to the sounds of “La Vie En Rose” as their friends and family watched via Zoom.

The Celebration The newly engaged couple celebrated with Dom Pérignon champagne and photos, followed by a Rolls-Royce photo tour through Paris. They returned to the rooftop for a private dinner under the stars with the sparkling Eiffel Tower as their backdrop.
