SCANDER (Skan-dr)
THE MOST FUN PHOTOGRAPHER IN PARIS
The quintessential artist, Scander, was born a people person. They say a smile can change a life … well, it’s impossible not to fall in love with his beautiful smile. Scander makes it easy to have your photos taken and inspires you with seemingly limitless creative photo ideas.
Scander is a self-taught Parisian Photographer who started his career in 2015 in Japan, where the fascinating world of photography opened up to him.
His first job was with English Adventure, nestled in the beautiful mountains of Tsunan, Niigata. Scander worked for an English-only summer camp for kids …. which proved to be the perfect playground to enhance his portrait skills. To succeed, he needed to provide clear directions in English and be patient. Hey, kids are the most honest teacher, right?
His experience in Japan made him want to expand his boundaries—culturally and artistically. Scander also realized that any fulfilling career path would need to expose him to happy people and the visual arts.
Back in Paris, Scander expanded his artistic range by photographing people from all walks of life. He’s done street photography, fashion models, boudoir, rappers, corporate branding projects, couple photoshoots, and weddings & events.
Believe it or not, Scander was shy as a kid. He was shy for as long as he can remember. All that changed when he forced himself out of his shell to photograph total strangers. Today, after more than 1,000 professional photoshoots, Scander is no longer shy.

what i love about shooting in pairs
I love Paris’s busy streets and lively cafés, just roaming to discover the perfect photo spots, lighting, and unique perspective. In Audrey Hepburn’s immortal words, an urban adventure through the ever-changing City of Lights is “always a good idea.”
my tip for the best possible photo experience
I may sound like an old record, but when you travel to Paris for a romantic getaway with your sweetheart, it’s all about you and your experience. Don’t be shy to speak up during your photoshoot so you never have to look back. Prepare a little before you arrive in Paris. Trust in your photographer, be playful, and have a laugh. I will do the rest.
